After Man City won the Carabao Cup, while the moment in the league ended, the general rule would be for the groups finishing fifth and sixth in the Premier League to qualify for the 2020-21 Europa League.
As the final day of the season approaches on Sunday, Leicester ranks fifth on the chart with 62 points, while the Wolves are sixth with 59 points.
Meanwhile, Tottenham is 58 points.
That depends.
One spot in the 2020-21 Europa League is set aside for the winners of the FA Cup.
This year’s FA Cup final is between Chelsea and Arsenal.
Now, if Chelsea wins the final, the seventh position will be accompanied by a europa League spot. That’s because Chelsea is already guaranteed to end up in the most sensible six.
But if Arsenal wins the FA Cup, then which team finishes in seventh place cannot qualify for the Europa League. For what? Because the highest position Arsenal can finish is the eighth.
Wolves to Chelsea on the last day of the season.
If the Wolves win at Stamford Bridge, they will secure a Europa League position next season.
If the Wolves tie or lose to Chelsea, they can finish seventh if Tottenham beats Crystal Palace.

The Spurs are headed for Selhurst Park on Sunday.
Tottenham starts the Crystal Palace game knowing that if he loses, he will finish seventh.
If Wolves lose to Chelsea, Spurs will finish 6th with a draw against the Eagles.
If the Wolves tie at Chelsea, Tottenham will have to beat Palace to sixth place.
Tottenham Hotspur head coach Jose Mourinho has told his Spurs that they will win the Europa League next season if they can now qualify:

After wasting 1-0 on Aston Villa, Arsenal’s hopes for the six most sensitive are over.
The Gunners are tenth in the league and can finish eighth.
As a result, Arsenal, which receives Watford on Sunday, has no chance of qualifying for the Europa League in the Premier League.
Arsenal’s chance to play Europa League football next year is to beat Chelsea in the FA Cup final.
Remember: if Arsenal wins the FA Cup, the team that finishes seventh will qualify for the Europa League.
Two Champions League baskets are in play between Chelsea, Leicester and Man United.
However, it is guaranteed that one of those clubs will play in the Europa League next season.
Chelsea deserve to be afraid to take on the Wolves on Sunday, a team they want to win to be safe from Europe next season. Chelsea lose and Leics-Man-Man Draw and Chelsea in Europa League …

Four English teams retain European trophy ambitions this season.
Man City and Chelsea remain in the Champions League, while Wolves and Man United are in the Europa League.
If Manchester City or Chelsea win the Champions League, they will reserve their place for the season competition.
A Champions League win at Manchester City will not affect the 2020-21 UCL rankings. In other words, the 4 most sensible Premier League would all qualify.
However, if Chelsea wins the Champions League and finishes out of the home four most sensitive, five English groups will be in the UCL next season, and only two groups will be in the Europa League.
If Wolves or Man United win the Europa League, they’ll automatically qualify for next season’s Champions League.
If Wolves or Man United win the Europa League and finish outside the top-4, five English teams will be in next season’s UCL.
Finally, if Chelsea and Wolves win the Champions League and Europa League respectively and one of the clubs finish outside the doors of the four most sensitive, only the 3 most sensitive groups in the Premier League (along with Chelsea and Wolves) will qualify for the Champions League next season.
