Manchester United defender Willy Kambwala is set to join Villarreal in a deal worth £8. 5million plus add-ons, according to talkSPORT.
Kambwala, 19, was on the bench for United’s last FA Cup victory over Manchester City at the end of last season.
He also played 8 Premier League games, after defensive injuries.
But with Man United making plans to sign at least two new centre-backs this summer, he is now part of Erik ten Hag’s plans.
One of the central defenders in the spotlight is Matthijs de Ligt, who has held talks with the Red Devils this month.
Jadon Sancho returned to Manchester United’s line-up after 10 months in exile from the team.

Jadon Sancho has returned to the Manchester United first team.
The winger has held talks with Erik ten Hag about his future and both agreed to draw a line and move forward.
As a result, Sancho returns to the Old Trafford first team and will be available for the club’s pre-season matches.

Chelsea have closed the signing of Renato Veiga, as confirmed.
The Portuguese star completed a £14million deal with West London and signed a seven-year deal.
It also includes a year for the former FC Basel player.
After his career at Sporting Lisbon, Veiga joined the Swiss side last summer and played 26 games for Basel, scoring two goals.
Speaking to Chelsea’s official website, Veiga said: “I’m very happy to be here.
“It’s one of the clubs in England, the best for me, and I can’t wait to start. “

Jurgen Klopp is not returning as coach, but has been named the first honorary ambassador of the LFC Foundation.
After ending years at the club at the end of last season, the German is now back at the club.

Joshua Zirkzee has arrived in Manchester and will complete his move to United today.
The Dutch striker flew to England on Thursday night after the Netherlands were eliminated in the Euro 2024 semi-finals by the Three Lions, and will pass the medical on Friday.
United paid little more than the €40m (£34m) clause in Zirkzee’s contract with Bologna.
In fact, they will pay their bills to Bologna over a three-year period and pay fees worth €42. 5m (£36m).
Zirkzee has a contract until June 2029, and United have the option to make him bigger for a further year.

Man United will pay his £34m release clause to Bologna.
The private situations have already been resolved and he is expected to undergo a medical examination in the coming days.

This is a move that was demonstrated as soon as Sheffield United were relegated due to the terms of the contract, however, Aston Villa have now officially announced the arrival of Cameron Archer.
Villa sold the striker to the Blades in the summer of 2023, but as part of the deal, Sheffield United’s demotion to the Championship would see Archer return to Villa Park.

Luton preparations for the 2024/25 Championship season with the arrival of Reuell Walters from Arsenal.
