The defender will then return to Germany, in a position to sign for Joachim Low’s team on Monday.

Koch, 24, could face his new teammate, Rodrigo, in Stuttgart on Thursday when Germany face Spain in the UEFA Nations League and the striker joins Leeds in a record movement of 27 million pounds from Valencia.

The England Under-21 striker scored 10 times in 20 league games last season while on loan at Swansea and Klopp says he will have to do whatever is most productive for his development.
