Transfer news: Man Utd push for third signing as Tottenham complete Solanke deal

Pep Guardiola has insisted Manchester City hope to keep Ederson this summer.  

The goalkeeper had been linked with an exit from the Premier League champions and Saudi Arabia was reportedly interested.  

But before the Community Shield, the head of the municipality ruled out this possibility.  

Guardiola said: “It’s a big relief that Ederson and Stefan [Ortega] are staying. Ederson’s charisma, his consistency. . . I’m pleased that he’s staying. “

Pedro Neto will sign a six-year contract with Chelsea ahead of his £52m move, according to Fabrizio Romano.

David De Gea’s year in the League comes to an end.  

The goalkeeper is heading to Fiorentina and De Gea has signed a one-year contract.  

De Gea has been a club since leaving Manchester United last summer.

Martin Zubimendi is said to be “torn” over his move to Liverpool, with the midfielder still in the dark about his future.  

Zubimendi is subject to the interests of Liverpool, who are willing to pay the Real Sociedad star’s clause.  

But Zubimendi is still convinced of this decision, according to The Independent.  

It is claimed that the 25-year-old has a wonderful loyalty to Real and that, before signing a contract, he will be completely convinced by the loan from Anfield.  

Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with Bournemouth for the arrival of Dominic Solanke.  

The striker will sign for Spurs on a £65m deal.

Solanke is expected to close the goal hole left by Harry Kane, who left the club 12 months ago.

The wolves have already met Carlos Forbes as Pedro Neto’s replacement.

Solanke has a £65million clause but it appears Spurs can negotiate a lower fee.

Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi is reportedly set to sign for Liverpool, with the Anfield giants pushing for his signature.

According to Sky Germany, Liverpool have an appointment with their firm Idub Global, which is also managed by Xabi Alonso.

Fabrizio Romano adds that Zubimendi believes a move to Merseyside would be a special step in his career after rejecting proposals from clubs.

It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will pay the 26-year-old’s £51m clause in full or open negotiations for a smaller amount.

Manchester United are reportedly an opening offer for Burnley midfielder Sander Berge.

According to TEAMtalk, Bergé has given the green light to a move to Old Trafford after being announced as an option for PSG’s Manuel Ugarte.

Burnley are reportedly valuing the 26-year-old at £30m, and United are hoping to convince the championship club to sell him for around £25m.
