Rumours abound at the moment about how Celtic Park will reconsider signing him this season, with some claiming that the club is on the verge of abandoning strict policies that have imposed a large number of young players with potential. This has led to further discontent among Celtic supporters, as our managers are increasingly being asked to do more with less, unless the team wants a meaningful rebuild. Ange Postecoglou came in here and replaced the dynamic by bringing the first team into an early position. and complement it with players who have prospects of moving on and making the club a fortune later on.
With the news that Matt O’Riley is likely to leave the club this summer (and Atletico Madrid have already noticed an offer rejected for him in the January transfer window that just passed), it looks like we’ll want a quality booster. to update the Danish international’s technical skills and overall shrewdness in midfield alongside Reo Hatate and Callum McGregor.

As things stand, Eduard Spertsyan and his club have not been contacted via the Scottish Premiership champions. That’s according to Football Scotland’s Mark Hendry, who, as we reported with Adam Idah, seems to be pretty close to the action when it comes to recruitment at Celtic Park.
He informed us all today when he posted on social media site X (formerly Twitter), that no contact had been made between Celtic and Spertsyan’s current club Krasnodar. He said: “Krasnodar have not heard from Celtic about Eduard Spertsyan. So far, an anonymous Belgian club has enquired about the striker.
