Aston Villa is willing to remain Jack Grealish, expanding the fees charged. Manchester United, the club known for leading the race for the 24-year-old captain, has retired for outrageously. Arsenal F.C. is now connected to Grealish, although there are doubts about whether they can do so.
Aston Villa slapped a hefty $103 million asking fee on Grealish, something that forced United to a corner. The Red Devils are already trying to figure out how to afford Jadon Sancho of Borussia Dortmund, someone who costs more at $141 million. Given the current financial situation of Premier League clubs, Man Utd. is forced to choose between the two. And it appears the decision is to focus on Sancho over Grealish.
For their part, the Lions expect the maximum rates to divert the contenders to Grealish. The Red Devils may have bothered, but interest in Grealish remains. Now it seems that Arsenal is contemplating moving for the England player who has not yet made any formal offers, Sky Sports reported.
Part of this would possibly be that there are also questions on the air about the budget that Mikel Arteta has at his disposal. The Gunners did not qualify for the Champions League, the club’s summer moving budget may also be affected.
Grealish had a wonderful season with the Lions, scoring 8 goals and six Assists in the Premier League. He has three years left on his current contract and Villa is pressuring the groups to keep him away at such a high price.
Grealish still has doubts about his long-term career and may be open to a movement. Some clubs have filed between $65 million and $78 million, but Lions remain part of their $103 million share.
