Trevor Sinclair has suggested to Manchester City on Twitter to take the lead of Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi.
The former City winger made the commentary on social media while watching Messi in action for Barcelona opposite Bayern Munich in the Quarter-finals of the Champions League on Friday night.
Although Argentine striker Messi did his best, he failed to save his blue team from suffering a humiliating 8-2 defeat at the hands of Bayern.
According to WhoScored, the Argentine foreigner made 3 shots, adding up two frames, made a key pass, 83.9% accuracy in the pass, took 59 touches, tried 3 dribble, made one shot and scored seven centers.
Sinclair suggested to the municipal football director, Txiki Begiristain, to “save” the 33-year-old from Barcelona.
Transferred from Manchester City this summer?
While City has recruited world-class brilliant players over the years, it’s to see them praise Barcelona’s Messi in the summer transfer.
It is true that the giants of La Liga are not in the position as a club and will want a massive reconstruction, but Messi has been at the Camp Nou all his career as a professional footballer.
