Two Michigan State players will retire from 2020 and return in 2021

The state of Michigan has asked two players to withdraw from the 2020 season for COVID-19 reasons.Both plan to return to the team in 2021.

Senior Jordan Reid, who in 27 of his 39 career games with a right tackle, announced his resolve to be lost on Friday 2020.

“After discussions considered with my circle of family members, training staff and educational advisors, I have to withdraw from the 2020 football season,” Reid said in a twitter message. “I will graduate in December with my bachelor’s degree and intend to return to MSU for my fifth year. Because of all the uncertainty related to COVID-19 and the experiences of the non-public circle of family members, I think this is the most productive selection for me in those difficult times.

Senior defensive winger Jacub Panasiuk also announced this week that he will be in a red blouse a year and return for his fifth season in 2021.
