Two other coronavirus centers have been opened in Sefton as the fight against the spread of Covid continues.

New sites have been opened in the Netherton Activity Center parking lot on Glovers Lane and the Crosby Library, bringing the total number of transit centers in the municipality to four.

Other step-by-step test sites are located in Bootle and Southport.

People with coronavirus symptoms should make an appointment online or by calling 119, and the site is meant to be available without problems without a car.

Each verification site will be open daily from 8 a. m. 8 p. m. , with between 4 and 8 verification areas from which up to 3 other people can check by time.

The first stopover at the Centres of Merseyside, Bootle Town Hall and Southport Town Hall, as well as cell phone verification sets throughout the municipality, have been operational in Sefton almost every day since early July.

This means that tens of thousands of tests have been provided to others in Sefton.

Cllr Ian Maher, head of Sefton’s board, said the opening of new centers “is the last vital step” in the municipality’s fight against the virus.

Cllr Maher said: “Testing remains an essential tool to succeed over the spread of Covid-19 infections, and I am very happy that we can open those two new sites without an appointment, in addition to the new location of the cellular unit. at Aintree Racecourse.

“Opening the new walk-in centers is the last step in making sure we have testing services available to the other people at Sefton, whenever and wherever they want it.
