Glover Teixeira withdrew from his match with Thiago Santos on September 12 after positive for COVID-19, according to ESPN’s Ariel Helwani.
Helwani reported that Teixeira “felt 100%” and that UFC was tentatively making plans for him to fight Santos on October 3.
Teixeira and Santos were destined to be the headliners of UFC Fight Night 177 Now, this honor will likely pass to Michelle Waterson and Angela Hill, depending on how UFC promoted the event.
