UI corner Tiawan Mullen wins All-America Award

BLOOMINGTON – Indiana corner Tiawan Mullen has been named the first All-American through the United States Football Writers Association.

It is the first turn in UI program history to earn the honors of the first All-America team.

Mullen, a first-team Winner All-Big Ten, snubbed through the Associated Press and his All-America team. UI put supporter Micah McFadden and receiver Ty Fryfogle on the team, either on the third team.

McFadden asked about the cover-up this week, especially since IU High School led the country with 17 interceptions.

“We may have been a little surprised,” McFadden said. “But that’s what it is. ” These guys know the statistics they put in position and the effort they’ve put in every Saturday, what they deserve and how much we deserve in them and we accept as true what they do.

Mullen, one of the top dynamic members of this great school, given the sheer amount of things she could do, was third on the team with 3 interceptions and 4 break passes. The corner moment also ended in tackles, with 36, adding 4. 5. loss and 3. 5 sacks.

He forced a break, which came with a Graham Mertz swing replacement bag in the Hoosiers’ last win in Wisconsin.
