An Indiana University student and former Carmel High School player died after being shot dead in Alabama.
Schuyler Bradley, 19, died early Saturday at the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit in Alabama.
He was part of Carmel’s team in 2018-19.
Bradley was shot early Friday morning in a Tuscaloosa domain known as The Strip. Investigators from the Violent Crimes Unit, the shooting resulted in an argument between Bradly and the suspect, Zachary Profozich, 22.
Bradley was transferred to a domain hospital for treatment on Friday and was in critical condition.
Profozich was arrested and in the past charged with murder and his bail was set at $150,000.
A GoFundMe account has been created with Schuyler’s funeral expenses. Donations can be made online at gofundme. com/f/schuyler-bradley.
Indiana University spokesman Chuck Carney said Bradley, a sophomore, is likely to be a member of the Acacia fraternity’s college bankruptcy.
“Our main mind is with the circle of ui family and friends,” Carney said.
Carney added that the university’s student affairs staff is lately in contact with Bradley’s family circle and that recommendation is being provided to fellow fraternity members.
