UNC athletes to train; football will resume on Monday

CHAPEL HILL, North Carolina (AP) – North Carolina has allowed football and several other sports to resume after temporarily postponing all athletic activities before this week.

He announced the movement on Saturday, allowing some systems to resume their activities on Sunday. This list includes men’s and women’s basketball teams, cross country, box hockey, men’s and women’s football and volleyball.

The list also includes the football team, however, this program will wait until Monday to resume training.

All other sports systems in the country will remain remarkable for the time being.

The announcement comes 3 days after the resolution to suspend activities amid an increasing number of coronavirus cases on campus, in student housing and a fraternity.

These expanding instances have led to the cancellation of face-to-face undergraduate courses in favor of distance learning.

Athletes continued to access facilities such as school assistance and after closure, which also included the closure of campus recreational facilities.

Athletes are among the teams of academics who can stay on campus accommodation after switching to online college courses only.
