Nottingham Forest is reportedly about to hire offensive midfielder David Tavares on loan from Benfica as they accentuate arrangements for the league’s new season.
The Reds already have Jack Colback, Tyler Blackett, Lyle Taylor, Fouad Bachirou and Luke Freeman as they aim to come out on a promotion.
And reports in Portugal recommend that Tavares be able to move to the City Ground on loan.
But who’s the promising young man? Let’s take a look.
At 21, Tavares joined Benfica in 2016, having spent time with his Portuguese colleagues AC Tojal, Loures and Sporting Lisbon from the beginning.
Since then, it has risen in the club’s rankings and, according to the official website, “has temporarily demonstrated its football quality, strength, speed and ability to pass in the under-19”.
He played a key role when Benfica was national youth department champion in 2018, the first time he won the name in five years.
That summer, Tavares took part in the preseason formation with the first team, for a serious ankle injury that tossed him for a long time and hindered his advance.
However, he was promoted to the national team last summer.
Reds’ long right-back race, Matty Cash, is the biggest topic of discussion this summer and we’re going to bring you all the news about his long career.

Well, that’s pretty good.
Playing a friendly against Liverpool, he allegedly caught the attention of Jurgen Klopp, which generated rumors of a movement imaginable to Anfield.
The Premier League giants faced Benfica in a friendly before last year’s Champions League final, with Tavares in a wonderful performance.
Or Jogo reported at the time that Liverpool’s headhunters were inspired by their “physique and aggression in midfield” and “their ability to tackle.”
A motion materialized, but Tavares continued to make his deyet for Benfica in the Champions League.
He arrived from the bench for the last 20 minutes of a 2–1 home defeat to RB Leipzig last September.
This has proven to be his only first-team appearance so far, he played 11 times for Team B last season.

With a genuine advance in the absolute selection creating difficult, Tavares would be in the plans of Chief Jorge Jesus for the next campaign.
This has led to the hypothesis of a loan to the City Ground.
Tavares has represented Portugal at other levels of young people, most recently with the U19.
In May, he was the eighth Portuguese player of the Primerira Liga to test positive for coronavirus.
And although the young player has struggled to affect Benfica’s senior team, reports recommend that when he signed a new contract until 2024, the club inserted an astonishing release clause of 66 million euros.
