The PSV Eindhoven is in conversations with Richard Ledezma about a new contract, with the US foreigner. Having attracted the interest of the MX América League -looking Club, he has shown ESPN.
Ledezma’s contract is up at the end of the season with PSV, and a source has told ESPN that the Dutch champions have turned down an enquiry from Club América in this transfer window for his services.
However, Club América are expected to come back in with a revised offer, a source said.
Ledezma, 24, a revelation for PSV this season on the right. Although he spent most of his career as a central midfielder, he featured in a smart position at the back this term for Peter Bosz’s side as they filled the left void through the injured Sergiño Dest.
The PSV is in a strong position, since they point out for a moment the consecutive name of Eredivisie this season. The Eindhoven team is the most sensible in the championship, six Ajax problems after 17 games.
Ledezma’s sole cap for the USMNT came in Nov. 2020 in a friendly match against Panama. However, he is also eligible for Mexico should he switch allegiances.
