USC football reached a mid-level at Big Ten press days Wednesday in Indianapolis. Connor Morrissette of USC’s 247Sports online site spoke with USC security Kamari Ramsey, one of three players who traveled to Indianapolis for the media event. Ramsey likes what he sees in two of the USC players he had to battle in training: Ja’Kobi Lane and Makai Lemon. Ramsey told Morrissette that those two receivers were “asleep” in a larger context.
In fact, Lane and Lemon made their presence felt at the Holiday Bowl against Louisville. It was only one game, and yet USC saw what the long run could bring to Lincoln Riley’s offense. Lane and Lemon’s catching passes from Miller Moss can allow USC’s passing offense to produce a breakout season and ensure the offense reaches a very high point a year after Caleb Williams’ departure. If USC can continue to score big scores, the defense will only want to make modest innovations to give USC a successful season.
Who will leave for USC this season?
