U. S. stars Malik Tillman, Sergino Dest and Ricardo Pepi helped PSV Eindhoven draw 1-1 with Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League 16 on Tuesday.
It is the first time in UCL history that 3 USMNT players played together in a match in the 16-man round.
Tillman and Dest played the game in Rotterdam before Pepi came on as a substitute in the 75th minute.
Donyell Malen gave Dortmund the lead midway through the first half, but Luuk de Jong equalised from the penalty spot in the 56th minute.
The penalty awarded after Tillman fouled Mats Hummels.
Dortmund will host PSV in the match on March 13.

In Tuesday’s other Champions League match, Inter Milan beat Atletico Madrid 1-0 in Italy thanks to a goal from Marko Arnautovic.
Tillman, Dest and Pepi have all made seven appearances in the Champions League this season.
Pepi scored in a 3-2 win over Sevilla in PSV’s Group B campaign before contributing to a goal in a 1-1 draw against Arsenal.
Tillman and Dest also helped throughout the organizing stage.
