VICTOR OSIMHEN posted a furious rant on social media about Khvicha’s agent, Kvaratskhelia.
The Naples striker attacked his teammate’s team after ensuring that Osimhen would leave the club.
Mamuka Jegeli has told Georgian television that the striker will finalise his move to Saudi Arabia this summer despite signing a new contract with Napoli.
Osimhen signed a new two-and-a-half-year contract with the Italian champions in December to stay at the club until 2026.
Replying to Jegeli on social media, the 25-year-old wrote: “Dear Mamuka Jugeli, you are a bastard and a disgrace.
“I’m ashamed of your sense of reasoning. KEEP MY NAME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH!”
Fans compared Osimhen’s outburst to Will Smith’s notorious showdown with Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars.
The actor slapped Rock before telling him to “keep my wife’s call out of your fucking mouth” after a comment about Jada Pinkett Smith.
One commented: “Osimhen went full Will smith!!!”
Another added: “Good for Osimhen, that was so disrespectful from Kvara’s agent. Will Smith mode activated.”
Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda also released a statement in response to the comments.
He wrote: “Everyone look at your home and respect each other’s work. It’s not okay to talk about the future of other players.
“This creates misunderstandings and disorders, as well as unfortunate predictions.
“Officer Mamuka Jugeli’s alleged comments are incorrect, superficial and unacceptable.
“These words create problems for my player Victor Osimhen with Napoli fans without any reason or reality.
“We have just signed a contract renewal and Victor’s only wish, even the Africa Cup of Nations, is to help Napoli. Everything else is garbage. “
Osimhen, who is currently on duty with Nigeria, has scored 67 goals in 119 appearances for Napoli.
He helped the club win its first Scudetto since 1990 last season by winning the Serie A Golden Boot.
