W2 Racing confirms two Hondas for inaugural TCR season in South America

The team will get from JAS Motorsport, the Honda TCR car brands, and so far has shown a driving force in the form of Raphael Reis.

“I look forward to announcing our access to TCR South America,” Reis told Motorsport Brazil.

“I have seen the WTCR and other TCR series around the world and I was interested as soon as I saw TCR arrive in South America. Naturally, the concept evolved with [team manager] Serafin, with whom I have been running for 4 years. Making the dream of running around the world come true with other people that I accept as true in paintings makes me very excited.

The 37-year-old Brazilian won the name Stock Light Brazil 2018 and lately is competing for W2 Racing in the 2020 season of the Brasileiro De Stock Light Championship.

The team stated that the pilot moment would come in due course.

“We are very motivated to take W2 Racing into a challenge with Raphael Reis, with whom we have already won a championship,” said team director Serafin Junior.

“We are proud to establish Honda, a very tough manufacturer in the Brazilian market and to obtain the advantages of Honda JAS Motorsport. “
