A Warwickshire pub has been named one of the 3 most sensible pubs in the country.
VisitEngland has the winners of its annual awards for excellence.
This achievement celebrates the achievements of the country’s tourism industry, such as available and inclusive tourism and the position of the year’s commercial occasions.
The Howard Arms in Ilmington, Shipston-on-Stour, bronze for pub of the year.
Managing Director Pawel Sobiszek said: “We are incredibly honored and grateful to get VisitEngland’s bronze for pub of the year. This award is our contribution to the local network and pub industry.
“After a very difficult few months, it is very special that I am informed that we have been voted among the 3 most sensitive pubs in the country, there is nothing bigger than that.
“It was a wonderful achievement to qualify for the maximum of this award in 2017. This year we control to reach the 3 most productive pubs in the country. Our other people have done a task and, honestly, I wouldn’t have done it without my team.
“This award is committed to Ilmington’s staff, regulars and network for their assistance during confinement and during the award process.
The Three Horseshoes pub and cuisine in Dorset ranked first in pub of the year, while The Baskerville of oxfordshire ranked first.
