Speaking after extending his stint at Leicester, which will increase to 11 if he sees the rest of his contract, Vardy said: “The adventure I’ve done with this football club is hard to describe, and we’ve already completed a lot together. I know I have a lot more to do with this team, so it’s a special feeling to be able to get back involved in my long career in Leicester City.
“I love playing football in front of our enthusiasts at King Power Stadium and I’m excited to continue this adventure at such an exciting time for the club. We have a fantastic team that I’m able to improve and look forward to seeing what we can achieve in combination over the next few years.”
