The Buffalo Bills made primary adjustments to their defense earlier this offseason, but now they would retain a key piece on the ball.
According to reports from Buffalo Home Football Cover 1, the Bills are renewing the defensive version of DaQuan Jones to a two-year, $16 million contract, with $10. 5 million guaranteed.

Jones necessarily showed the news on X (formerly Twitter) with a two-word message.
“WE ARE BECOMING !!! #GoBills,” Jones tweeted.
Jones, 32, originally selected in Penn State’s fourth round in the 2014 NFL Draft through the Tennessee Titans, where he played for seven seasons. He spent a year with the Carolina Panthers in 2021 before joining the Bills in 2022.
In 26 career games with the Bills (including the playoffs), Jones has totaled tackles, 4. 5 sacks, one fumble recovery and one blocked kick.
Jones discovered a house in Buffalo, about a three-hour drive northwest of his own in Johnson City, New York. Now it’s here to stay for the foreseeable future.
