West Ham defender Watford Craig Dawson on a million-pound play after missing loan from Chelsea star Fikayo Tomori

The Hammers look at the veteran 30-year-old middle-central, who failed with a series of gives to the most beloved defenders the window of important moves.

Deals of around $30 million have been reduced for Burnley’s James Tarkowski and Bayer Leverkusen’s Jonathan Tah.

And on the deadline, a sign of Fikayo Tomori ceded by Chelsea failed.

The former West Brom Dawson defenseman has been on Chief David Moyes’ list of features.

And since he couldn’t bring in young players, the Hornets guy is now the top priority.

Moyes desperately wants politics in the middle with only 3 senior players in this position.

They are Angelo Ogbonna, Issa Diop and Fabian Balbuena.

Watford paid West Brom four million pounds for Dawson a year ago and they are going to get their cash back.

The Hornets are optimistic, knowing that West Ham has few other options.

Swansea’s defense, Joe Rodon, has been under scrutiny, but a value of 18 million pounds could be out of reach, especially since Tottenham has also made his interest known in the Welsh star.

Although the deadline for pointing out EFL players has ten days to go, Moyes would rather get a deal as soon as possible.

That would give Dawson time to settle the Premier League results.
