West Ham hopes to sign Slavia Prague side Vladimir Coufal after his medical review on Thursday, but has been rejected on loan from Bruges midfielder Hans Vanaken and Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic.
Manager David Moyes needs his team, but on a limited budget, he is aware of wasting the money they give him.
If they don’t find suitable options, he’s willing to keep the chimney in primary signatures until January before making inconsiderate decisions.
