Kurt Zouma may still be absent at West Ham when they face Olympiacos in the Europa League tonight.
The Hammers captain missed the week’s Carabao Cup win over Arsenal and the weekend’s Premier League defeat to Brentford due to a knee problem.
Zouma was absent from West Ham’s main educational consultation at Rush Green on Wednesday but trained separately, adding running with the grass ball with the club’s educational staff.
“We’re still waiting for Kurt,” West Ham manager David Moyes said in his pre-match press conference. “He didn’t work out [with the main group] this morning. He’s been doing a little bit of internal exercise and let’s see how he does it. “
Moyes has Edson Alvarez and Lucas Paqueta back in contention after both missed Brentford’s loss through suspension and is likely hoping to form a strong squad as he looks to take the first step towards qualifying for the knockout stages.
The Hammers saw their 17-match unbeaten run in Europe come to an end in Greece a fortnight ago but remain top of Group A with six defeats from their opening three games.
