These schools will inform OHSAA of their goal of participating in the playoffs through the myOHSAA website. Football regions will be decided this weekend and will be announced publicly next week.
The soccer groups of the seven divisions of the tournament will have until September 24 to withdraw from the playoffs.

OHSAA will host the tournament assembly with coaches on the week of September 28 and parentheses are expected to be published on October 1.
Schools that have a “goodbye” in the first can schedule a normal season game, according to OHSAA.
Divisions I, II, III and VII will have football matches on Friday and the playoffs on October 9. Divisions IV, V and VI will play on Saturday.
OhSAA expects the Division I state final to take place on the weekend of November 13.
Division I would end up ahead of the other six divisions because it has fewer groups, a total of 71 this fall, according to Joe Eitel. The other divisions would end the following weekend.
OHSAA has not announced a place for this year’s state football finals for the COVID-19 pandemic. It can be played in various locations due to limited participation capacity needs established through the Ohio Governor’s Office.

Schools withdrawn from OHSAA playoffs or not participating in OHSAA playoffs will have the opportunity to schedule more normal season competitions until November 14, with a maximum of 10 normal season competitions allowed.
