The negotiations are not easy, but the Independiente leadership is not throwing in the towel. Carlos Tevez insists that they bring more reinforcements. Now there are 4 new players: the forwards Gabriel Ávalos, who is on par with the Argentines, and Ignacio Maestro Puch (Atlético Tucumán), the media point Alex Luna and the winger Adrián Sporle (Arsenal).
The businessman claims to have two larger companies: a defender and a mixed midfielder. And the two sons of the Apuntado: Alan Franco and Johnny Quiñónez.
“I went with Alan. I want someone else to leave the club. He’s very vital for the club, and I told him on the phone that ‘you want to be here to get the caravan out’,” said the Reds businessman. The 27-year-old defender had his contract with São Paulo until 2025 fined. Initially, the management of the Avellaneda club intended to negotiate a loan, however, the Brazilians were in favor of this proposal.
The São Paulo team needs to hold back, but Independiente does not and this week sends a proposal for a pig from the central step that Carlitos demanded.
Quiñónez, volante ecuatoriano de 25 añños, tiene contrato con Aucas hasta fines de 2024. Independiente ya envió una oferta y, si bien las cifras no trascendieron, por ahora hay diferencias entre lo que pretende el club dueño de su pase y lo que ofreció el Rojo.
“Me gusta el volante mixto de área a área. No hay muchos de esas características. Me gusta Quiñónez y es prioridad, pero si no se puede traer buscaremos otro”, expresó Tevez, quien declinó de la contratación de Nicolás Domingo para ir a fondo por el ecuatoriano. La dirigencia hará lo que esté al alcance del club para tratar de darle un gusto al técnico.
