The Europa League will feature a play-off round after the group stage for only the second time, to decide which teams enter the 2023/24 last-16 draw.
There are 8 play-offs and they will be played between the 8 clubs that finished third in their Champions League organization and the 8 clubs that finished second in their Europa League organization.
Champions League clubs that qualify for the Europa League play-offs feature big names like Galatasaray, Benfica and Feyenoord. They will face Sporting, while Premier League clubs West Ham and Brighton could also be part of the draw, depending on this week’s results. .
