In a general year, CBS Sports would spend 130 in its weekly ranking, known as CBS Sports 130. This year’s survey has another call with a new twist.
With 54 FBS groups rejecting football from the fall to the spring, or canceling the season altogether, only 76 FBS groups planned to play in the fall. Therefore, this year’s weekly vote is CBS Sports 76.
LSU opened sixth in the first edition as a CBS Sports electorate and 247 Sports voted to provide a deeper look at the entire school football landscape, as there are more systems to highlight the week that the most sensitive 25 This is the time for the joint venture between the two partners, as the first pre-season All-America groups of CBS Sports / 247Sports were suspended on Thursday. The LSU tied Clemson for the time being with the most options with 4 receivers, as receiver Ja’Marr Chase and cornerer Derek Stingley Jr. won places in the first team, while the defensive takeover of Tyler Shelvin and goalkeeper Jacoby Stevens earned the team’s recognition at the time.
Two warring parties landed above the Tigers in preseason 76 with Alabama at No. 2 only Clemson, while Florida began a higher position than LSU, but Oklahoma and Georgia, in order. Ed Orgeron’s team receives Alabama on November 1 and four will travel to Florida in the fourth week on October 10.
Two other enemies completed the 10 most sensitive with Auburn and Texas A-M in eighth and ninth position respectively. The Tigers face both systems on the road.
Ole Miss took the 30th position – two notches ahead of LSU’s season-opening opponent, Mississippi State – and Missouri scored at No. 34. South Carolina landed at No. 41 followed by Vanderbilt at No. 62 with Arkansas a level below the Commodores.
LSU finishes its first week of fall camp on Friday and has two days off on weekends before the week of the time on Monday before the opening of September 26.
