The Ritz-Carlton would possibly be closed, but that doesn’t mean you still can’t enjoy the view from the 42nd floor. Kanopi, the gourmet place to eat and place for occasions run by chef Anthony Gon’alves, is still up and running and is helping couples plan their dream wedding, as long as it’s 50 or less. With several rooms, all with stunning views, there is plenty of room for a rite in one room, a cocktail in the other or dinner in another.
In addition, they have taken great care to make sure everything complies with strict protection standards. At the entrance, visitors are evaluated with a number of fitness issues and are taken to an elevator that takes them directly to the occasion space. The garden, with its variety of shade-loving plants, has been the scene of many engagement photos, so diversification in weddings under this “new normal” makes sense, Kelly said. Ideally, he would like to be two weeks in advance, but will leave to accommodate others as much as possible.
