Clement said “a small chance” Leon Balogun can return depending on the center’s progress in training.
However, club captain James Tavernier has been ruled out “for a few weeks” after suffering an injury, and with John Souttar and Neraysho Kasanwirjo also sidelined, Rangers’ characteristics appear lacking.
It is possible that Clement will simply follow the same type of plan used in the cup final, which almost paid off.
Rangers predicted lineup (4-2-3-1, left): Butland (GK) – Yilmaz, Sterling, Propper, Jefte – Diomande, Raskin – Cerny, Bajrami, Cortez – Igamane
