Where to Watch Tottenham vs Bayern Munich: Live Stream, TV Channel, Start Time, Lineups, Preseason Friendly Predictions

Tottenham Hotspur will kick off their pre-season with a high-profile clash against Bayern Munich at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.

The club friendly comes just a week after the teams met in Seoul, where Bayern ended Tottenham’s four-game winning streak with a 2-1 victory. With the support of their fans, Tottanham is looking for a setback. The adjustment will also mark the return of Harry Kane. After taking a break following England’s Euro 2024 campaign, Kane is expected to return with the Bayern squad to his former home. If Kane comes into play, it will be the first time the 31-year-old striker has faced Tottenham since he left the club in 2023.

This friendly will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, United Kingdom and will start on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 5:30 p. m. local time.

This is what it was like in the United States:

Tottenham will finish an intense preseason, which included a tour of Asia, in which the friendly team faced Bayern. The team looked tired in the past against the German giants in Seoul. Destiny Udogie, who had surgery this year, has yet to return and there are no new injury considerations for the Spurs.

Tottenham predicted XI (4-2-3-1, left): Vicario (GK) – Spence, Dragusin, Romero, Porro – Gray, Bissouma – Kulusevski, Maddison, Son – Johnson.

The big news for Bayern is the return of striker Harry Kane, who will likely play his first game of the new season. Leroy Sané is still out with a groin injury and Vincent Kompany may not need to threaten him in a friendly.

Bayern predicted the XI (4-2-3-1, from left to right): Neuer (GK) – Boey, Kim, Dier, Guerreiro – Goretzka, Palhinha – Gnabry, Muller, Laimer – Kane.

Bayern have won five of the seven games between the two teams, while Spurs have won one so far.

The Bavarians appeared to be the stronger team in their friendly in Seoul on August 3 and may continue to dominate. Kane will also be up front to put on an exhibition at his old stomping ground.

Meanwhile, Spurs have shown signs of progress, Ange Postecoglou, and will be eager to start the new season in their first home game. They won 4 of the five friendly matches. However, the quality in Bayern’s ranks gives the German club an advantage.
