FOXBORO, MassArray — It’s a resurgence of runners at Gillette Stadium on Sunday when the New England Patriots trampled on the Las Vegas Raiders in a 36-20 win.
Here’s who helped the Patriots make the most of the third week to win:
RB SONY MICHEL Entering Sunday’s game, Michel’s longest run was 33 yards. He had 38 and 48 yards while carrying the ball nine times for 117 yards. He also put in two passes for 23 yards.
Wait to crown Damien Harris as the Patriots’ ball carrier, as he is eligible to return from the injured reserve next week. Michel showed a spark that hadn’t been ignited before since the 2018 playoffs.
RB REX BURKHEAD Burkhead entered the finish zone three times when he loaded the ball six times for 49 yards and put seven passes for 49 yards. He scored at an 11-yard reception when he beat Raiders protection Johnathan Abrams on Route 1. five- and 2-yard passes.
Don’t bother asking which ball carrier starts in fantasy. Rookie JJ Taylor also looked smart on Sunday and James White was inactive for non-public reasons.

DEATRICH WISEShilique Calhoun and Deatrich Wise also fired Carr in the finish line. Wise picked up the ball for the strip and scored.
