You can ask a handful of young Green Patriots players since the start of next NFL season.
New England hit hard through loose agencies in the spring, as several participants from the 2019 crusade discovered new homes. Patriots have also lost some key participants through opt-out for coronavirus issues.
Devin Asiasi is one of the young patriots eager to succeed. UCLA’s product was one of two closed wings that New England decided on the third circular in April to face their disappointing position group, which lost Ben Watson at the retreat and Matt LaCosse to disengagement. Asiasi has a chance to have an effect on the player from day one at Foxboro, which is part of the explanation for why NFL analyst Lance Zierlein calls the 23-year-old the Patriots’ “pivot rookie” in 2020.
“Asiasi looked like a narrow piece of the Patriots when I read his band before this year’s draft,” Zierlein wrote to NFL.com. “Now the talented recruit will have to stand out as a great target that can attack the seams of Cam Newton or Jarrett Stidham… or the Patriots can be for a long time.
