When a football club’s public statements can sometimes be described as innocuous, it is a smart sign.
If you disagree with this observation, you might want to remember Hearts’ official statements in the Romanov era.
The former Soviet submariner definitely in the entertainment business!
Of course, since they were created from parts of the Rangers’ framework (1872-2012), Sevco is in a league of his own for delusional statements on the club’s website.
Its “Statement FC” fame is deserved.
Less is more for a well-run company.
With that in mind, dear reader, take a look at the concise nature of today’s Celtic statement.
“Without any guarantees, our supporters would attend Ibrox in January. “
One more time:
“No guarantee. . . “.
My information about Coplandgate has been unequivocal from the beginning.
If the challenge is “a delay in shipping fabric from Asia”, and that is the ONLY challenge, then the finishing touch date will not be a challenge.
Regular readers may not forget that I reported that THREE scenarios had been discussed with the other relevant people at Hampden.
They were:
(1) I’ll play there until October.
(2) Until the end of 2024.
(3) For the season at the National Stadium.
Again, if the explanation for Ibrox’s lack of availability is “a delay in shipping fabric from Asia”, then what is the reason for this uncertainty?
This is an unanswered question that is found in the midst of local media editorial meetings.
Unfortunately, this is something they all agreed they would address.
Despite the Orwellian levels of information that have been attempted lately in the backyard that John Brown was betting on, it would be naïve to think that Celtic are unaware of the situation there.
The communication of champions says a lot in a nutshell.
Like Parkhead itself, it is economically efficient.
Keyword:
Guarantee.
That’s the story.
captain swing
Excellent sir.
“. . . about the structure for which John Brown played. “
Enough Phil, too much. You take this query more seriously. Yes, right!
I’ve been waiting for months for someone to write about this mess, very well done, Phil, for your message. None of our media has ever questioned the situation, that is, where exactly are the materials, when they deserve to arrive, if they have been paid?Journalists talk about freedom of expression, some simply do not deserve this right. Thank you Phil.
In fact, we are witnessing the “final chapter” of the TRFC2012. The Ranger executive (the monkeys around the table) wants a basic accounting course. There are things that I (potentially us) don’t know, a lot of things have happened. There has been talk about the “balance” figure in Hampden to keep the “square wheels of the bus”. . . Please enlighten me (if possible) and will the SFA authorize a “squatter” to save long-term TV contracts?
Some facts
Att vs. Kyiv: 39,000 (looked less, this season tkts?)
Hampden Capacity (official): 51,866
Celtic-TRFC in the SCF 23/24: 48,556
The presence of rangers in Hampden and the absence of Queen’s Park (see yours today) is reminiscent of the cuckoo custom.
What about situation 4)?
Will Hampden be Sevco’s permanent headquarters?
As ridiculous as it may seem,
Just 12 years ago, the SFA, the SPL/SFL and the 41 clubs
(including ours), have made ridiculous efforts for a “Rangers”
He stayed in the senior game.
And nothing has replaced in Scots since 2012.
Maybe all the safety nets are already in use for the loose fall that Sevco finds itself in?
I wouldn’t be surprised, after seeing the empty seats in Hampden for the Kiev match, if Rangers made money from the European competition and ran at a loss.
I believe the late John Sullivan wrote and sang a popular song that has been increasingly adapted to his stage over the last few years/decades. . .
“No source of income tax, no VAT, no refund, no guarantee. . . “
And they said the years of jokes are over.
Turns out we can only speculate about the underlying problem, and the only thing I’ve heard about is asbestos.
Is it right that the agreement with the SFA for the use of Hampden ends on September 5?If so, only 3 weeks away. It is too late for a professional team to secure a stadium to play their matches.
The Ranger Council will have to be very frustrated by the economic and reputational damage caused by a plan to increase capacity by about 1%.
That’s fine with me. I guess other people just need a logical explanation. Or is it too much to expect from Ibrox?
Is it imaginable that this project would translate into a pressing need to fill Hampden Park every two weeks?
I comfortably hope they don’t play at Ibrox this season. If there was a chance, they would have shouted it from the rooftops. Maybe they are too afraid to climb it, but in case of a collapse….
As much as I wish you were right, they know it would be a bad PR display and they’ll get all the help they can.
“. . . on the site of the structure in which John Brown plays. “
Stop it, Phil, too. You take this query more seriously. Yes it’s true!!!
Could one inexorably conclude, Phil, that you’re wallowing in the bewilderment of the existing iteration of the Klan franchise at the site of the structure in which “Bomber” Brown once played?I can’t comment
For those on the green side of the segregated, the hope of a 7,500 return to Ibrox is just wishful thinking. Does anyone really believe that Sevco executives would pay for the damage caused to Parkhead through 7,500 of their “participants”, for damaged bathroom doors or anything else that was damaged? There is a good chance that the safety net will arrive on time and be perfectly suited for Ibrox use.
