Begiristain told the club’s website, www.mancity.com: “Everyone needs to play this game, they exercise and it’s smart to compete.”
“Maybe we can arrange a friendly on camera this weekend and this will be compatible with Real Madrid.”
City will have a 2-1 lead in the reorganized setting after a memorable victory at Bernabéu in February, but since then real has won the LaLiga title.

Begiristain said: “They won the championship. They were Barcelona and then they were able to beat them. That makes them a very, very harmful team.
“It’s the festival, but we also have confidence. We had a smart game there. They won’t and won’t want it.”
“We have to be realistic and check to get merits from the merits we have.”

Begiristain expects City’s involvement in the revised Champions League – which culminates with the final on August 23 – to delay their entry into what will be a different summer transfer window following the coronavirus pandemic.
He said, “We paint a lot. We have to be ready, always. This can be a strange window of movement because other people have to act fast, we have to bring players who can to our team but it also means that maybe someone can just come out.
“We have the Champions League so we have to wait to move forward. Then we will maybe have less time than ever but we’ll have time to make the changes we need to improve this squad.”
