The Competition Department of the Association of Clubs (AdC) has shown the names of the groups for the 2023/2024 season of the Argentine Basketball League, with the presence of Atenas.
The tournament is divided into two conferences, the North and the South, with 17 groups per day. Atenas, along with Barrio Parque, San Isidro de San Francisco will compete in the North Conference, while Ameghino de Villos Ángeles María will compete in the South. .
The AdC has announced that it will be the successor of the Central Argentino de Ceres, Estudiantes de Concordia and Del Progreso de General Roca. Together with the neighborhood club General Bustos, it is a member of the moment of the provincial national basketball of Rosario and of the Union of Mar del Plata, which is at the pace of the promotions of the Federal League (instead of the relegated Parque Sur de Concepción del Uruguay and Tucumán Básquet).
In addition, it incorporated Amancay de La Rioja, which includes the Plaza de Ceres, in central Argentina; Sportivo Suardi, which has created an alliance with Del Progreso; and Racing Club de Avellaneda, which has earned its place in the AdC.

All clubs met on Aug. 18 to give administrative approvals.
The date of the initial jump of La Liga Argentina is scheduled for October 15 with a first look at the new week of play, until December 15, when the team is expected to play half of the matches of its normal phase. He will take office from December 23 to January 5.
La Liga will resume on January 6 with more weeks in which clubs will play the second minute of their regular matches.
The format of La Liga Argentina, as it was proposed in the match, will be the same as that of the last era that bet on Zárate Basket.
