Wolves break club to point out 18-year-old Fabio Silva

MANCHESTER – Wolverhampton Wanderers broke his club’s record move to point out Portuguese teenager Fabio Silva of Porto, announced the Premier League club on Saturday.

Wolves did not disclose the fees paid by the 18-year-old forward, who signed a five-year contract, but said it was a club record. Media reports had indicated the prices were approximately 35 million pounds (46, 50 million dollars).

Silva, a member of the youth formula at Porto and Benfica, made his debut for his home team, Porto, in August 2019 at the age of 17.

The striker scored a goal in 12 Portuguese league games for Porto and spent last season with his B-team in the division.

Wolves President Jeff Shi said Silva has an herbal skill in a position for Nuno Espirito Santo’s first team.

“We’ve been following the progression of Fabio.Es a player you want for a few minutes to see his herbal football talent.In recent years, Fabio has evolved very temporarily and has now shown himself in Porto’s first team, which is a leading team,” he said on the club’s website.

“Our head coach’s quality requirement is very high, but he believes Fabio is a vital signing that will help the team this season,” he added.

The last record signing of the wolves to Mexican striker Raúl Jiménez, who joined West Midlands from Benfica for 30 million pounds in 2019.
