Wolves don’t make bigger eligible offers for Robbie Hummel and Othyus Jeffers

The Minnesota Timberwolves announced today that the team will not increase qualifying donations to strikers Robbie Hummel and Othyus Jeffers. Minnesota will not increase qualifying donations to Hummel and Jeffers before today’s deadline, nor will players have unrestricted loose agents on July 1.

Hummel, a 6-8 winger, played 53 games (five as a starter) for Minnesota last season with an average of 3. 4 dpi and 2. 5 rpg in 12. 4 mpg. The Wolves first selected Hummel with the 58th overall pick (second round) of the 2012 NBA Draft.

Jeffers, a 6-5 goalkeeper, played two games for Minnesota last season, adding two problems and three rebounds. The Wolves signed Jeffers on April 8, 2014.
