Ruben Amorim has warned that Marcus Rashford’s latest loss from the Manchester United team is due to the England foreigner having replaced him since his initial loss.
Rashford has not featured in a fit team since December 12 in the UEFA Europa League against Viktoria Plzen, and has since conducted an interview in which he said he was fit for a new challenge after spending his entire professional career at United.
Amorim has repeatedly insisted that the England international’s absence from the team is not down to his request to move on but a result of his performances.
Rashford’s exile began his fifth streak against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Thursday and then, Amorim said: “This is the same explanation of why this will be.
“We have to be the same professionals, the same guys, win or lose. To lose, I have to be stronger. I will continue my concept until the end. “
Asked if Rashford had shown a difference since being left out, Amorim replied: “If he’s not there, you can make up your mind. “
United lost 2-0 to Wolves, putting them in 14th place in the Premier League.
