Liverpool Xherdan Shaqiri has been invited to return to the Bundesliga through former national coach Ottmar Hitzfeld.
Shaqiri ruled out of Liverpool’s team for his departure from the Carabao Cup at Arsenal on Thursday, with head coach Jurgen Klopp hinting after the attack that an imminent move.
Asked about Shaqiri’s future, Klopp said: “I can’t and I don’t need to say anything about it. What I can say is that he is not hurt and it is not for disciplinary reasons. “

It is not known which groups were going to train Shaqiri, but Goal and SPOX reported that Rome and Seville became interested in switzerland’s foreigner in April.
Hitzfeld, who controlled Switzerland between 2008 and 2014, suggested Shaqiri return to Germany, where he played for Bayern Munich between 2012 and 2015.
“Xherdan will move to a club where he plays regularly,” Hitzfeld told Blick. “You’ll have to laugh again, we all need to see the Xherdan satisfied again. A motion would be smart for everyone around him and his fans. “”
Hitzfeld named the German clubs where Shaqiri could do well, saying: “In the Bundesliga, a club like Gladbach, Leverkusen or Wolfsburg. To get back on your feet and train. “
Shaqiri arrived at Anfield from Stoke before the 2018–19 season and played a leading role in his first season with Liverpool, making 30 appearances and scoring six goals.
However, the winger lined up with Klopp last season, making 11 appearances and scoring two goals.
In August, Shaqiri lobbied his engagement to the Reds, while admitting that the 2019-2020 crusade “frustrated” him.
