The good fortune of the New England Patriots offense can count on the progress of one or more of their young receivers.
Patriots quarterback Brian Hoyer was N’Keal’s partner Harry, Jakobi Meyers and Gunner Olszewski last summer, while the 3 receivers were rookies in New England. Hoyer was released at the end of the summer and played for the Indianapolis Colts last season, but then returned to the Patriots this off-season.
He liked so much what he saw in the educational field of the three young fugitives.
I said, “Yes. I can tell you those guys painted really hard,” Hoyer said Thursday at a conference call. “It’s pretty obvious to me. Obviously I didn’t get this chance to be here with them last year, however, we had some pictures this summer and now we have a chance to stop by and do it in front of the big defenses.”
“I think you see one and both one and both days, not just those three, but the collective organization that’s going through there and pushes both to one and both one and both days. And… we go out there and throw the ball at them and we just see how things go to pass. Should I throw it here? Should I throw it in there? How are you going to run this fast route? But yes, both one and both one works hard and just try to collect the days ”.
Harry has missed the last two practices due to injury and is insured for a place on the list as a first-round pick in 2019. Olszewksi and Meyers fought Mohamed Sanu, Damiere Byrd, Devin Ross, Jeff Thomas, Will Hastings and Isaiah Zuber for roster positions and an opening position alongside Julian Edelman.
Let the boy win.
