Yuriy Vernydub will leave the position of coach of FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk

MINSK, Aug. 31 (BelTA) – Ukrainian specialist Yuriy Vernydub has resigned from his position as head coach of FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk. He resigned of his own free will, due to family circumstances. These data were published on the official online page of the bronze medalists of the Belarusian championship, BelTA learned.

Attendees of Yuriy Vernidub, Dmitriy Kara-Mustafa, Alexander Nogin, Igor Fokin and Valery Mikhailenko also leave.Now FC Shakhtar Soligorsk’s control is for a new coach.

Yuriy Vernidub appointed head coach of FC Shakhtar in November 2019 Under his tutelage, Soligorsk footballers scored 43 points in 22 matches of the current Belarusian championship and, together with FC BATE Borisov, ruled the tournament standings. On 30 August, FC Shakhtyor beat FC Gomel 4–1 to triumph in the 16th circular of the Belarus Cup.
