Zanetti from Inter regulates the departure of Lautaro Martínez to Barcelona

Inter Vice-President Javier Zanetti has excluded striker Lautaro Martínez from signing for Barcelona this summer: “It is our contribution and our future”.

The news of Barcelona’s play was explained through his interest in Martinez this summer and claims by Diario Sport in July indicated that the forward’s 111 million euro release clause had already expired, it is unclear whether the Catalan giants they were ever willing to sanction such fees.

The forward scored 21 goals in 49 games for the Nerazzurri last season and has firmly established himself as one of the elite strikers in European football – the club progresses to the Europa League final.

“Lautaro is leaving Inter. Not only does Barcelona freeze this, however, Lautaro is transparent that he is in a great club like ours and that he is happy,” Zanetti told Fox Sports, quoted through Marca.

“For now, he is leaving, he is our supply and our future.

“There is respect between the clubs, there are players who have a clause and a club comes and is going to pay for it, so we can’t do much. But in the case of Lautaro, he is very satisfied at Inter and I recognize him when he is satisfied.

Martínez’s existing deal in Italy runs through June 2023 and was signed in July 2018, when Inter paid Racing Club € 22. 7 million for theirs and temporarily established themselves as a star in Italy.

Barcelona’s attack is expected to reorganize next season, Luis Suárez is expected to sign for Juventus and a greater emphasis on Antoine Griezmann and Ousmane Dembele.
