COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) – Lucas Zelarayon and Pedro Santos scored a goal and a hand and MLS frontman Columbus Crew beat Minnesota United 2-0 on Wednesday night.
The team (9-1-3) is undefeated in six games and has won 4 of their last games.
Santos folded a ball arched through the center of the area, where Zelarayán opened the scoring with a slapped headbutt in the minute. Santos manipulated to the right and turned to his left before firing a deviated left foot from the hands of archer Dayne St. Clair and then out of the crossbar at 70.
Robin Lod scored in the 88th minute for Minnesota (5-5-3).
