MILAN – Zlatan Ibrahimovic is back in Italy and in a position to sign a new contract with AC Milan.
“Finally, everything is in position and I can nevertheless go back to where I feel at home,” Ibrahimovic said on arrival at Milan Linate Airport on Saturday night.
Ibrahimovic, 38, is expected to sign a one-season contract for 7 million euros ($8. 3 million / 128 million rand).
Ibrahimovic, his time at Milan in January on a six-month contract, helped change the Rossoneri season with 10 goals in 18 Serie A appearances.
Milan, a seven-time European champion, finished sixth in the Italian league and secured a place in the Europa League.

“As I said, I’m not here to be a pet. I’m here to bring effects and help the team, coach and team get back to where Milan deserves to be,” Ibrahimovic said in a video on the Milan website.
“We had six wonderful months but we didn’t win anything,” he added. ” This year I’m lucky enough to be here from the beginning, so we have to stay the way we were, running hard and sacrificing ourselves to achieve our goals. “
